Proper nutrition, nutrition counseling, and nutrition
education are strengths that contribute
to aging well. If older adults are not getting
proper nutrition, they are at risk for premature
institutionalization and death. Proper nutrition
is also necessary for medications to work as
prescribed and for the body and brain to function
well.
